Throughout our lives, our mental and emotional resilience are put to the test but the past year has really taken things to a new level. Recent research led by the Mental Health Foundation found that although most people (64%) felt they were coping well with the stress of the pandemic, many are struggling. The study found that almost nine out of ten people said they were using at least one coping strategy to relieve the stress, whether it's going for a walk or calling a loved one.
Resilience is a skill we can cultivate and our focus to mark Stress Awareness Month this April was on sharing tips and strategies that will help. Our poster and webinar recording are both packed with ideas which have been tested through research and shown clear benefits. We hope that some will resonate and inspire you.
